We foster an inclusive and welcoming community and promote a sustainable culture of academic excellence among all engineering students at UC San Diego. The Center provides engineering students with academic support and social engagement that enhances values of diversity for a global community. Students will participate in activities and attend special events organized by Jacobs School of Engineering students. This will include touring labs, connecting with faculty, and networking with student organizations. While students will have the opportunity to participate in joint activities with the other tracks of the Overnight Program, participants of the IDEA Engineering Student Center Overnight Program will spend a majority of their time together with the engineering cohort.

Apply to host an admitted high school senior during the program.
Help plan the Overnight Program.
Participate in the Phone-a-thon Campaign. Congratulate admitted high school seniors and invite them to participate in the Overnight Program.
Volunteer throughout the weekend! We need all the help we can get.
