Counseling & Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy to registered undergraduate and graduate students, including students of the Medical School and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Services are free of charge to currently enrolled students who have paid their registration fees. During the summer, students who were enrolled the previous Spring quarter and are intending to return in the Fall quarter are eligible for services.

Cross-Cultural Center

The vision of the Cross-Cultural Center (CCC) is to empower UCSD to recognize, challenge, and take proactive approaches to diversity for the campus and the San Diego community. We strive for meaningful dialogues and context across all cultures, particularly those of underrepresented or underprivileged backgrounds. We offer supportive and educational services through art, programs, workshops, and outreach, and we welcome creative venues for enhancing social consciousness and equity.

LGBT Resource Center

The LGBT Resource Center at UCSD provides a visible presence on campus and enhances a sense of connection and community among LGBT faculty, staff, students, alumni and the UCSD Community. Let the LGBT Resource Center be your home away from home. We encourage you to get involved by visiting the Center and connecting with members of our community.

Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS)

The Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS) is the learning center at UCSD. We provide most of the free tutoring on campus in a collaborative, supportive environment. OASIS also provides peer mentors and peer counselors to support students with issues that can be a distraction from academic priorities, such as personal and family issues, setting and reaching goals, etc.

Women’s Center

The UCSD Women’s Center is a space in which people work collaboratively to foster the educational, professional, and personal development of diverse groups of women. The Center provides education and support to all members of UCSD regarding gender issues, with the goal of promoting an inclusive and equitable campus community
