The Center provides engineering students with academic support and social engagement that enhances values of diversity for a global community. IDEA Stands for Inclusion, Diversity, Excellence, and Achievement.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Students will participate in activities and attend special events organized by Jacobs School of Engineering students. This will include touring labs, connecting with faculty, and networking with student organizations. While students will have the opportunity to participate in joint activities with the other tracks of the Overnight Program, participants of the IDEA Engineering Student Center Overnight Program will spend a majority of their time together with the engineering cohort.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong>UCSD Students:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><span style=\"color: #333333; line-height: 1.5em;\">There are a number of ways UC San Diego students can get involved<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #1c93c7;\" href=\"http:\/\/overnight.ucsd.edu\"><strong>Apply to\u00a0host<\/strong><\/a> an admitted high school senior during the program.<\/li>\n<li>Help <strong>plan<\/strong> the Overnight Program.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the <strong>Phone-a-thon Campaign<\/strong>. Congratulate admitted high school seniors and invite them to participate in the Overnight Program.<\/li>\n<li><a style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #1c93c7;\" href=\"http:\/\/spaces.ucsd.edu\/?page_id=2363\"><strong>Volunteer<\/strong><\/a> throughout the weekend!
